Because of the wood rot, pieces were pulling up which created unsightly gaps (and a trip hazard), not to mention the fact that the rotten wood provided a place for weeds to take hold. I looked at epoxy solutions but they were relatively expensive, messy, and from looking around the neighborhood, not a very permanent fix.

When I saw the SlabGasket solution, it was one of those slap the forehead moments: Why didnt I think of that? I scheduled an appointment and the change is dramatic. The installed product is neat, blends in with the concrete as it is virtually the same color, and has a fit so tight that weeds have had a very hard time growing in what space is available.

I have had it installed for almost a year now, and I am extremely pleased. Its a fantastic solution for a common problem. Highly recommended."
